Karen Merriman, Branch Secretary said: “We are keen to encourage new membership to strengthen our involvement in the decision making process of NHS Orkney.”
“UNISON’s position has always been ‘stronger together’, and we hope these drop-in sessions will allow us to further realise that position locally.”
Ryan McLaughlin, Young Members Officer, said: “We are especially keen to encourage young members to become more involved as they bring a fresh perspective to the committee.”
These sessions will be held on the 16th October in The Scapa Room, with non-members invited between 10-12 and existing members between 12-2.
